Fort Gratiot Series – #004

#004 of the seven-instrument Fort Gratiot Series is a Lil Dub Opening Act built with a warm, richly figured combination of woods and a comfortable 24.75″ scale. A Sitka spruce top is paired with Claro walnut back and sides, giving the guitar a classic natural appearance with especially striking grain across the back. Padauk binding adds a thin reddish accent around the body, providing a beautiful contrast between the lighter spruce top and darker walnut.

Bubinga is used for both the bridge and fretboard, while a red gum rosette adds another subtle layer of color and texture around the soundhole. The black walnut head plate carries the handcrafted character all the way to the top of the instrument, complemented by 18:1 Grover tuners. A bone nut and saddle round out the build, making #004 another distinctive one-of-seven instrument from the Fort Gratiot Series.
