Fort Gratiot Series – #003

#003 of the seven-instrument Fort Gratiot Series is an Aphrodite model built around a refined combination of European spruce and mahogany. The European spruce top is paired with mahogany back and sides, giving the guitar a timeless foundation while allowing the natural character of each wood to remain front and center. Its distinctive body shape and carefully selected appointments give #003 a more elevated, individual presence within the Fort Gratiot collection.

Bocote is used for both the bridge and fretboard and carries through to the rosette, creating a cohesive look with plenty of natural grain and character. Ebony binding provides a clean, dark contrast around the body, while a Ziricote head plate adds another richly figured wood to the design. A 24.75″ scale, bone nut and saddle, and 18:1 Grover tuners complete this handcrafted instrument.
