Fort Gratiot Series – #006

#006 of the seven-instrument Fort Gratiot Series is a Lil Dub Performance built with a refined mix of European spruce and richly figured Claro walnut. The European spruce top keeps the front of the guitar clean and traditional, while the Claro walnut back and sides bring dramatic grain, depth, and natural contrast that really stand out across the body. Maple binding adds a lighter edge around the darker walnut, giving the instrument a crisp, finished look.

Bubinga is used for both the bridge and fretboard, tying together the warm reddish-brown details on the front of the guitar. A red gum rosette provides subtle color around the soundhole, while the Claro walnut head plate continues the character of the back and sides up through the instrument. Finished with 18:1 Grover tuners, a 24.75″ scale, and a bone nut and saddle, #006 combines understated styling with some of the most striking natural wood grain in the Fort Gratiot Series.
