Fort Gratiot Series – #007

Fort Gratiot Series – #007 brings together a striking combination of tonewoods with a clean, understated look that lets the natural character of the wood take center stage. The European spruce top is paired with beautifully figured Claro walnut back and sides, accented by warm Padauk binding and a Red Gum rosette. The result is an instrument with plenty of visual contrast while still maintaining the handcrafted, traditional character of a Lighthouse Guitar.

The details continue throughout the build with a Bubinga bridge and fretboard, Black Walnut headplate, and a bone nut and saddle. A 24.75″ scale length gives the Lil Dub “Opening Act” a comfortable feel, while 18:1 Grover tuners provide smooth, precise tuning. From the distinctive walnut grain on the back and sides to the carefully selected contrasting woods around the body and soundhole, #007 is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted instrument built right here in West Michigan.
